The main film, Our Story, in the Setting Up For Success series introduces the broader story of the Aboriginal Sandalwood Alliance and its vision for the future, while the shorter videos explore different perspectives on caring for Country, sustainable harvesting and regeneration, Aboriginal enterprise, cultural knowledge and the opportunities that greater Aboriginal leadership can create.
These videos demonstrate how sandalwood can support Aboriginal economic development while strengthening connection to Country, protecting and regenerating the resource and creating a more sustainable industry for future generations.
The Aboriginal Sandalwood Alliance (ASA) brings together Aboriginal businesses, Traditional Owners and organisations working towards a shared vision for a sustainable, culturally grounded and Aboriginal-led sandalwood industry in Western Australia.
